Holy cow, 20,000 posts!

Are congratulations are in order, or should we have an intervention?

Just kidding, congrats on your monumental verbosity Kurt!

At the rate I post it will be 2038 before I reach that post count! Although if I continue at the rate I've been going at this week it might be closer to next year.

Haha, I remember congratulating him on 10,000 in a PM.... that was only like 1 1/2 years ago!

Kurt and I joined about a month apart, just a little more than 5 years ago. It has been interesting to watch his post number grow exponentially. If I remember correctly, it was only two years ago that he was at 10,000. If this rate increase holds, he should top 30,000 before 2011 is over.

Where does he find all the time to video tape those 1970's game shows?

Keep in mind that aside from bikeforums, he has a train hobby AND maintains his own website. I wonder how much time he puts into those cars he has?

To put it in perspective, patentcad only has ~46k, and he has conversations with himself.

What's most impressive about that number of posts is that they're loaded with information.
(Most of us are like grasshoppers and he's more like a Kung-Fu master when it comes to bikes.)

I made page 7. I just edged out Unterhausen... of course my posts are mostly fluff and hot air so is that really anything to be proud of?

Excellent point. On other forums that I belong to, many of the high post count member's posts are worthless drivel. Not here.

Kurt, congrats on the milestone. Thanks for all your well-informed posts, even the crabby ones--well, especially those! You always tell it like it is.

Really impressive when you consider he does not post much anywhere else.

Was also surprised to see I made the first page on the search since I am still such a newb.

At 20,000 posts, I'm not sure I have a life, as Syke suggests - especially if I'm the ninth most prolific poster on Bikeforums.net. I find the proposition rather frightful at that.

The surprising part of it is that I've been trying to cut down recently.

Nevertheless, I thank you all for the kudos. Fingers crossed for another 20,000 posts of good stuff to come, eh?

-Kurt
