Is this a Paramount?
It was sold to me as a generic 853 steel Schwinn frame, possibly Waterford, possibly Taiwanese. There is no serial number, or other indicator of origin, and now I'm trying to sell it. Since the listing, a few people have emailed telling me it either is or is not a Paramount (note that I never claimed that it was). Well, is it, C&V posters? If so, is it a Japanese Paramount, or a Waterford one? Or some Taiwanese frame of dubious quality? You tell me. Thanks.

Thanks guys. So any idea if it's Taiwanese or American?
Also, what are your opinions on the ride? I never actually built this one up, and now I'm second-guessing my selling it rather than actually riding and racing on it this season.

Bikes: Waterford 953 RS-22, several Paramounts
The Match built lugged 853 Paramounts and the Serotta built titanium Paramounts were made in the U.S., while the contemporay (late 90s) TIG welded 853 Peloton and Circuit were built in asia.
The geometry of the Paramont, Peloton and Circuit were identical, but IIRC the Peloton and Circuit had aluminum forks while the Paramount fork was steel.
