I have purchased a used Bianchi which appears to be a road/touring type bike. The guy who sold it to me didn't know age or model. If anyone knows any info about this bike, let me know. Here are some of the characteristics of the bike: Steel frame (from what I can tell), Head set is 1 piece and stamped "SR", Rims "Femco 27x1 1/4"", All the parts say shimano, Outer surface of L crank says "Custom" and inner surface says 170 Japan SR 29, the R crank outer surface says "Silstar" and inner surface is labeled 170 Japan SR 97, On the outer surface of cassette lock ring area it is labelled Product of Japan Shimano UG or VG VIA, on the surface of the cylinder inside the wheel spokes is what appears to be a tent shape inside of which is printed "KK" over "K-84", seat post stamped "Taimel Compe", inner surface of shifters which are connected to the bike frame just below the head tube is written "Z401". Stickers (bronze on Black frame): on both sides of seat tube is a hexagon inside of which is a spade under which is written "Piaggio" and below this is the Bianchi decal with three bars preceeding it in the following color order-magenta/purplish, blue, gold. Toward the very bottom of the seat tube, near the crankset connection is a single sticker in silver that says "Made in Taiwan". The head tube front portion of bike decal is a bird? in bronze w/Edoardo Bianchi written below it in purple. All components re made of metal, no plastic from what I can tell. The brake levers are connected to the handle bars in road bike fashion w/an additional brake lever that crosses to the inside of the bars, so 2 ways to brake. Oh, it's also a 10 spd.
Thank you for your assistance.
