Thanks for the blocked bidder list. I don't sell a lot, but this is just one more step you can take to minimize your chances of getting screwed. Is there a comprehensive list of these unwanted buyers somewhere on C&V? Maybe we need a new thread on that.

i'd of love to have read up on the item and the seller, but the item from the link you provided is gone.
|
I think the new link I provided will work properly. Here it is again:

thanks for outing the seller. Word of mouth, both positive and negative, has been around forever. Paypal protected me on a fraudulent seller once, glad they did for you. Just like any marketplace, there are sheisters!
It is really more fun than you would think to try and get the most expressive feedback with the number of characters allotted. Once you have been refunded, that is. Nice job. |
did you notice that the seller tried to sell your frame before but never sent it? That was one of his other negative feedbacks:
I never received the item. I paid. He refunded without reason. Not happy at all.Member id czevmusic ( Feedback Score Of 1 ) Jul-08-10 11:39 Contini Lugged Steel Frame, Reynolds 501,Cinelli (#150443773759) |
Pogue: He only left you positive feedback because that's all sellers can leave on eBay. It sucks.
|
If a Seller leaves obviously negative words in a "Positive" feedback for his Buyer, Buyer can petition eBay to have that so-called Positive deleted.

Ebay has had a policy for a while now that, in some disputes, they will cover the refund, and not take it from the seller. This might be one of those cases, where both parties are dug in and they don't want to get in the middle, but want both to be more or less satisfied. In that case it might appear to the seller that it was reversed in his favor.
+1 a 'positive' with negative comments can and should be removed, it's completely against the rules. EBay is much more of a hassle in every way now. Writing them about anything is hopeless, you get canned responses that appear to be imperfectly translated into English by people who didn't read your question in the first place. There's a user's forum somewhere on the site, 'members helping members' I think, which actually is much more useful in terms of getting answers than eBay itself. |

He also left positive feedback (!) on my profile, though it is really a raging neg.
Go ahead and have eBay remove it, if only for a bit of harmless revenge (of which you're bloody well entitled to, considering that eBay doesn't allow him to do so in the first place). Don't let this guy think he can get away with it again. -Kurt |

+2 on reporting his Positive Feedback w/Negative Comments! This guy is an asshat that needs to have his tree shaken, and shaken hard. For future buyers' sake, if not your own, finish out the final round.
I hate losers like that on Ebay - somebody's always gotta mess up a good thing :( Scott's parody auction (the stove-bolt) from the other day was spot-on! DD |
