Here's my '87 Bianchi. Grand Compe brake calipers replace the stock Modolo Speedy's, and new Sun rims replacing the grey Ambrosio 19's.
(Probably the only bike I own with these new-fangled black-wall tires. ;)) http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...Jan1520125.jpg http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/h...an15201212.jpg |
Just finished this '72 Cinelli SC. This one is a bit too big for me and I already have another '72 SC that is actually in better shape than this one so this one is probably going to get sold.
EDIT: pictures fixed per CDM's comments below https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-X...0/DSC02234.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-y...0/DSC02235.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-x...0/DSC02236.jpg https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/--...0/DSC02218.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-F...0/DSC02222.jpg https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-N...0/DSC02223.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_...0/DSC02226.jpg https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-s...0/DSC02229.jpg https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-z...0/DSC02231.jpg |
Jim,
Your beautiful Cinelli really screams out for a properly leveled out saddle and the addition of toe clips. If you do indeed put the bike up for sale, the wonky saddle angle will potentially cost you money. |

It's amazing some times what I don't notice until I take pictures and look at the pictures. I didn't really even notice it while I was taking the pictures and like I said it felt fine on the short test ride I took (which I took with modern pedals). The input is always appreciated even if it does point out that I am a doofus :) |
Hi BlueDevil63,
Congratulations on your beautiful Cinelli, I could admire it for hours. And.....you have a better one? Is that possible? |

Most recent build for the stable: 1978 Colnago Super.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7274/7...d89d68c4_b.jpg The '69 Masi Special is slowly gaining traction; should be complete, if not 100% PC, in a week or so. DD |

I've been riding my second Zullo for the last couple weeks. Bought it as a frame with Kestrel EMS fork and King headset and assembled the rest from shed parts. No chrome on the frame and I think it's straight gauge Columbus. Does have all the Zullo frame pantographing just like my other one, so it's probably also ~'84 and a Bill Lewis import (no serial numbers - just a size stamp). Running mostly 600 tricolor, 8 speed with the dreaded Modolo Morphos brifters (no, they don't work very well).
http://chuck.kichline.com/bikes/zullo2.jpg Mug shot of my other Zullo, also 600 and from the original owner: http://chuck.kichline.com/bikes/zullo/zullo.jpg More photos of the black Zullo They seem to remain a little bit of a "secret" overall. Your black Special is one of my favorites. |

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=263142 ><>< Late 80's/early 90's Super Corse...? Built it up w/ C-Record cmpnts & SRP Ti upgrade kit. I don't ride it all that much as I probably should, as it handles like a dream, esp w/ the Veloflex Tubulars... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...erCorsa002.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...erCorsa004.jpg |

So many beautiful bikes in this thread! I feel humbled and honoured to add my Bianchi to this thread. She was built up by me in a mix of Campagnolo parts at some point I would like to put a C-record crank on her.http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=263163my only non Italian parts a SunTour Winner Ultra 7 freewheel and Sedisport Chainhttp://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=263164http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=263165http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=263166http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=263167

I have to agree with callig, there are so many wonderful bikes displayed within this thread and I must say that the Italian marques are where my interests in bikes lie. I love this thread and thank all you guys that have contributed the photographs of your much loved Italian framed bicycles for me to admire.

One that rarely is to be seen especially this model Fondriest EL-OS with the chrome lugs.
A search on the net couldn't give the answer for what model this is. It's from the mid 90's that's for sure. Paintwork is rather special, but not as special as the masters. http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...ps819850ca.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...psc6e73c57.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...pse291a8e7.jpg http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z...psf0686cf6.jpg |

I guess it's time to post a couple of mine before they're out the door.
Both 7s DuraAce equipped....I know.....but if I'm going indexed the DA was just better than Synchro First - a Guerciotti from sometime in the late 7s era - late 80's, very early 90's. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8262/8...fe8dfe27_b.jpg And second, a Gianni Motta from probably '83 to '85 (shifter location) http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5336/8...e4c383ae_b.jpg And for a bonus, you can catch as glimpse of my new, not quite finished workshop in the background of the lower pic :) |

Glad to see my baby (thread) is back!
Here is my current squeeze. I'm actually riding friction full time and am loving it so much. French fit all the way. http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps5f580481.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps77422f5f.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...psd29bca7a.jpg http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/u...ps485223a1.jpg |
