bike tools help in San Diego/Orange County?
I'm visiting my parents, and was checking up the Team Miyata I gave my brother a while back. Its components are in pretty bad condition now, with rust, lots of dust, and in need of a tuneup (frame looks decent? haven't checked the inside yet)
I've got enough chemicals to take care of the rust on the components, I think, and my parents have basic tools, allens and sockets. However, I left all my bike tools in Austin. Does anyone happen to live around the area, from whom I could borrow a few basic tools (mainly a few cone wrenches, maybe a crank puller)?

I'm in Glendora, LA County until January 1. Got 90% of my tools with me. PM if you want to come and wrench for the day.

2) Sounds like you to SERIOUSLY school a brother about care of a VERY nice bike. That's a travesty.

If it makes any difference, he does live in San Diego. He rides it every day, and the rust has probably built up faster due to the ocean air. He might not be mistreating it as badly as I think he has.

I live in San Diego (east county, and work on the coast) and have all the tools you mentioned. I've got to work tomorrow (I wish I'd seen this sooner) but can take my tools with me and see where you are visiting in the county.
PM me and I'll give you my cell number.
