Zefal competition pump and presta valve help

Hi,
I have a Zefal competition vintage pump and i would like to use it and mount it on my PX10. My tubulars has presta valves but the pump won't pump the tyres up and just leaks air at the valve. I think the problem is that the rubber bit that pushes onto the valve has enlarged and doesn't seat snug around the vavle and thats why it isn't working. But i'm not sure and wonder if its anything else. I have attached a photo of the end with the bits removed from the pump in case anyone can see if anything is missing.
Originally the pump wasn't working but i replaced the rubber peice inside the pump and now it has good pressure.
Here is the photo and thanks in advance.

Many thanks.
I'm wondering if the valve body ( 3 ) is for a car tyre type valve?
I thought with presta valves the pressure can push the end in to allow inflation?

Looks like the same parts as the Zefal HP, so locating the replacement parts should be easy.

Hey Daveyates, could you show us what the rest of that pump looks like? I don't think I've ever seen a Zefal with a red grip.

I'm new here. I have the same pump- went to use it today and the seal ring inside the tube dried out and fell apart- doesn't make air. I've had the pump a very long time and would like to get a replacement part, but see nothing on Zefal's website. Any ideas?
