Which bars are these

They look just like mountain drops to me. Can't say what model in particular though... I'm useless.

That are not many company's making that sort of bend; WTB mountain drop, salsa moto, on-one mary (I think) used to. I don't think WTB makes a silver version, not sure Salsa does either; so my guess is On-one.

its embarrassing, I rode this guy every day for a month while my rb-2 was getting sprayed. I remember loving the bars too, I think they were closer to period of production. Not a modern model.

If the components are correct, I'm guessing the frame is late 80's. I do not believe that anyone was making this type bar at that time. it surely was not original to the bike.

definitely not original, I was thinking it might be some kind of Ritchey product

It was the on-one midge I was thinking of, not the mary. I'm interested in trying this type of bars myself which is why I'm interested as well.

Bikes: Many

these are flared out at the upper bends with the drops still parallel. I modified a bent, very narrow GB handlebar on the Carlton Corsair.

The bars in the OP look like they have a more "ergo" bend to them, it could be the angle of the photo though.. Origin-8 makes a bar called the Gary that comes in silver as well. I think this is a neat little genre of handlebars. I have tried the WTB dirt drops and found them to be very comfortable.
