Shimano RSX Brakes

Does anyone here know where I could buy shimano rsx brake calipers other than e-bay?

Out of curiosity, why do you want RSX brakes specifically?

As far as I know, the RSX calipers were only produced for 8-sp RSX groups, in a satin-finish dual pivot.
Every 7-sp RSX group I've come across (and I buy 'em if I can afford it) had Exage calipers.

Other than eBay, Velospace, Road Bike Review, and other sales/trade sites, I can't imagine anywhere else.

Maybe try Site Mash and enter RSX. It may come up with CL listings.

I don't know about the satin-only finish, because I've pictures of them with a shiny chrome finish as well. And tomio, I want these because I just installed 7-speed rsx brifters on my raleigh technium 400, and want matching calipers. Thanks for the suggestions.

Bikes: The keepers: 1969 Magneet Sprint, 1971 Gitane Tour de France, 1973 Raleigh Twenty, 3 - 1986 Rossins.

I have a set of the shiny finish ones (not for sale, unfortunately) as part of a almost-complete 7-speed RSX gruppo (don't have the hubs) which were on my replica Mavic Neutral Support bike. The bike's now back to parts, and the frameset will be sold at Westminster. I always thought they were fairly common.

My family has two 7s RSX bikes with RSX brakes, FWIW. Bought new and unmodified. RX100 FD, RSX RD long cage for triple.

Now that the thread is in C&V, yep, everyone!

RSX STIs shift very well IMO even when mated with a long cage RD, better than modern tiagra or sora. Probably on the level of 105.

+1. I have them and also tricolor STI's of the same vintage and they are nearly identical in both form and function. Though I think they are identical to the 105 of similar vintage.

Bikes: Too many to list, all titanium or steel.

I've got a set, in use with a set of RSX shifters, but I bought them separately.

I'll join in - I have a pair.

I agree, RSX is good stuff. I have some that I ride on my commuter.

I ended up finding a pair...what is the difference between the rear derailleurs with the blue RSX lettering and the black RSX lettering? Was it just a difference in the year it was produced? Or was there a different shifting range (7 or 8 speed)? Thanks for the help. I'm really trying to get this group together.

My RSX 7-sp stuff had the blue letters.
My RSX 8-sp stuff had the black letters.

I'm glad to see that 7-sp RSX groups came with calipers, which I'd not seen.
LBS has a bike, my size, lugged Lemond, with an RSX 7-sp group.
I need to check the calipers and the tubing, may be worth a 2nd look.
He wants $319.99
