Pick My Saddle

I'm going to swap out this saddle for something different (more comfy) so what do you think?

Possible choices are Selle Turbo, Rolls, or? I think it would have to be white or would black work? Please give your opinion....

I think a white Rolls would rock, or a white Regal. I have both and they are great.

P.S. If I get nothing else done tomorrow your package will be sent, promise.

I would look for a white Vetta for comfort/aesthetic.

A white Turbo would be most fitting I think. Regal is my butt's favorite though...

I was also thinking of a Vetta after seeing yours, but I can't find one....

I'd vote Regal. I've got three bikes with 'em mounted. I love the way they fit me.

I like the seat that's on there right now! Maybe make it a less extreme tilt? Do you wear biking shorts? I wear shorts and could literally be comfortable pedaling my soul out while sitting on a rock.

I wear biking shorts about 50% of the time. I have only rode this one about 2 mile total, but found it uncomfortable. I suppose I'm just looking for an excuse to buy something new.......

Neal,

Nice looking saddle...... Might be a bit cold this time of year though.

My vote goes to shorts + a fit tweak!

And a little pinchy!

I'll be home this weekend for you to poke through my free parts bin. I also have a second dead suntour RD, as well as a live FD and some other things. Everything is free, I'll gladly take donation of 700c tubes however!

The bin is on the cape! It had a suntour RD that cc-er needed but it's not a huge bin full of valuable parts. Just some odds and ends I've accumulated. I'm in Quincy for school.

Velomine.com has some fairly cheap Turbos, I think they have white.

White Dimension Afton:

Have one on the Tiara and a black one on the TS III, I really like them, logo free, and reasonably unmodern looking. Nice leather cover too.

I think the Regal is a very comfortable saddle and I like the looks. I think the Rolls is a little more plush. Whatever you decide, I've been looking for a white Concor if you'd like to sell it.

Bikes: I hate bikes!

If you want to be comfortable you could try this:

Not sure the looks of it would suit your bike, but I'll add that I ride the WTB Pure V on my touring bike because I think it is just that comfortable.

Oh nice where do you go to school? I'm originally from around Boston but I'm going to UMass Amherst at the moment. Do you ride around Boston often?

@ RoboIsGod-

The riding is much better out there in the valley than in Boston!

Some day I'm going to move out of the city and buy a house on the CT river, I love it out there. I've been in Boston for 4 years (school) and love it, but west of the Quabbin is great. Weather is better, soil is better, less population density, more bike friendly...the list goes on.

Methinks a Flite would look fantabulous.
