Please stop posting as it's only making me feel more sick. Did you ask him if he had any more? I like the Cinelli but it's too tall for me anyways.

I think the guy found them at a garage sale because he was talking about the bikes being dirty and needing tires from being hung inside a garage for a long time. He sells tools, so he didn't know anything about bikes .

Boy, you got the deals of the century, hands down ! I can only dream of finding beautiful bikes like that at such ridiculous prices. In my dreams I 'll find that 72 Raleigh International for dirt cheap.

Bikes: 1995 Trek 520 is the current primary bike.

Yeah, I'd find room for a Cinelli

Nice. What time did you find them, I'll assume two seconds after the gates opened to buyers.

And since the seller was into tools, did he have any bike tools?

Daaaahhhhmmmm! Cinelli is my size too. Both for 150.00, has to be the deal of the year so far. Congrats!

I'd like to say something witty here, but I just can't, because I'm too tired. Sundays are too long for me. Just home after starting at 4:00 a.m. this morning.

But I take my hat off to you for finding these two bikes for a mere $150. WOW!

They lasted until around 11:00am when I found them. No bike tools just mechanic tools.

Trying to make us feel better?

I assume since you inspected the spider for cracks, you know this, but you might try some stress-relief filing there. Do a search if you're interested because others have done the same.

There's no arguing with a Cinelli with a cool Super Record Gruppo

SF Bay Area has a lot of cheap bikes in flea markets too, but I never felt comfortable buying them. The sellers give some bad vibes, you get the feeling that a good number may be stolen. This is especially true for newer bikes.
