Number plate?

Anyone know where I can find an old school number plate? You know, the kind that bolt on the the tab that hangs down from the top tube, just behind the head tube?

Or will I just have to make my own?

I can't issue you one until I see your racing license, you sign the waiver and pay your entry fee.

Sorry I can't help. We use pin-ons at the races I've ref'd.

Ours were card stock or laminated tag board.

Card stock usually fell apart before the end of the race.

For my wife's tris last summer it was usually just a junky printed sheet on 8.5 X 11 that they told us to tape on.

I think I'll try a hobby shop for some white styrene sheets, maybe 1/16" thick. I can then cut to the appropriate shape.

Hmmm... that's an idea.
