Bikes: Cannondale T700s and a few others

I want to Play this so bad but Marietta GA is very unfriendly to this Yankee city slicker game. LOL

Moderate: Your bike in profile view with the sun rising behind it. Street cred points for multiple bikes in the shot This I might be able to get on my way to work but I dont live in the city so it will just be a road side. At least it will be the easiest of the three.
Hard: A senior Citizen posing with your bike (like standing behind it, etc) - BONUS points if said citizen is wearing a flat cap, [C&V addition] DOUBLE BONUS if said citizen is wearing vintage tweed, TRIPLE BONUS if said citizen can remember buying your make/model new and riding it wearing aforementioned flat cap and tweed. Id have more luck finding a senior citizen in overalls, straw hat and remembers the name of his first mule or model of his first tractor.

^ Those are the old challenges! Here are the updated ones:

Easy: Your bike in front of a your favorite Cafe' or Coffee Shop. No chain shops allowed. (must have a beverage from said Cafe' pictured with your bike)
Moderate: Picture of your C&V next to a sign welcoming you to a state/province/territory/etc. in which you do not currently reside.
Hard: Your bicycle with someone in full riding gear (spandex, jersey, helmet, etc.) on a new(er) high end bike riding by in the background.

Are those regionally specific, too?

26" balloon, but also a rare size - 26 x 1 3/4 x 2, 571 mm (rims are original Sturmey Archer, 40 spokes R, 36 F).

That is what is on mine as well. I've been told in the past that this model was made for the South African market.

ftwelder should be able to complete the moderate challenge in 10 minutes or less, since he lives and works in VT about a mile or so from the bridge to NH.

I stopped into my favorite coffee shop this afternoon during my March century ride. Imagine my surprise at finding it closed. That blue bag next to the rear wheel contains two liters of water and a jar of instant coffee. Will the judges accept that? Mickey Way?

+1, accept. You're docked a couple bonus points for not having the appropriate beverage, but since bonus points are theoretical to begin with, the math is complicated.

RHM--Theoretically there was coffee in the photo. It just wasn't mixed together yet. But rules are rules, and I'll give up the bonus points this time.

Oh, I understood that there was coffee in the photo. But the shop being closed, I figured the coffee was from a different shop. That's the technicality that cost you so dearly.

But to serious matters now: what's the new challenge?

I've effectively been out of the US for a little over 9 years now. So I'm a bit out of the loop as to what's going on there, day to day. My first thought, In the spirit of bike commuting and such, was to get a photo of your bike in association with some form of public transportation, other that a Taxi. A lot of the smaller towns probably have none, except taxis, so I guess we should include them as well. Here, it would be a piece of cake. So tell me if it's too hard, or too easy(it IS the easy challenge). If it stands, we can make it official.

Easy: Your bike with a form of alternative transportation
Moderate: Picture of your C&V next to a sign welcoming you to a state/province/territory/etc. in which you do not currently reside.
Hard: Your bicycle with someone in full riding gear (spandex, jersey, helmet, etc.) on a new(er) high end bike riding by in the background.

Bikes: A few bikes

The only alternative transportation I have in my area is horse and buggy. Does that count?

I was gonna snap a shot in front of the planes at the local airfield so I'd vote yea for the horse and buggy as being equally creative

I would defer to seedsbelize's judgement, but I can see from looking back at the earlier post it did say public transportation. However that's defined is up for debate?

Could you describe some examples of alternative forms of transportation? Especially what you had in mind.

Does walking count? It is an alternative to biking. How about skateboarding?

For the Easy Challenge:

I'm having a hard time deciding what to use to go to the church this morning.

My '88 ST 400 Cannondale with fenders, or the Yukon Jacks?

To be honest, this challenge seemed too Easy (at least to me). All I had to do was walk out of my basement to pose this shot 15 minutes ago. I'm not certain it is fair nor in the "spirit" of the competition. Or if it counts as "alternative" transportation. I'll defer to the Challenge's OP, and any official or unofficial judging associated with this cool contest.
