thanks for the info and feedback guys. I'll let you know when I've got some more info for you.

I would be interested and willing to go over $75...I've never ridden wool and am curious.
I can go with the flow as for graphics, but my tendency would be something subdued...maybe a nice mellow blue with some white. |
I like wool; I'm not picky otherwise. Tried to reprise iab's (successful) group buy last spring, but as others point out, it's complicated with all the personal preferences, out-of-stock items, etc. I ended up canceling the thing and returning paid-folk's money, because we couldn't get enough people who would buy if we couldn't make the volume discount minimum (myself included). It's a case of TMI, but you can read all about it here:
http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...again-in-2010? Be forewarned: it's a lot of work. Maybe I approached it in the wrong way. |

I can't image wool is possible under $75, unless is from Portland Cyclewear. I've never owned any of their product, but am curious as to trying them.
So put me down as a possibly if it's wool. Not interested in plastic... |
I'd like wool.

I voted for Wool, mostly because I currently only have non wool Jerseys.
I also vote for plain... little to no logo would be great. IIRC, the Portland Cycle group buy anyone could choose and color and with or without graphics which was really nice. |
Wool is fine, I voted that either is fine. I did not know Curtis used them. the 50+ jerseys have had no aired complaints in the forum. I'll take ya'lls word that they are sub-prime quality. I was aware Curtis did the design on the graphics for the 50+ forum's jerseys. he may have some idea for other sources to consider since he did research things pretty well.
I grew up wearing wool jerseys and shorts along with Detto Pietro shoes so a nice wool jersey with C&V logos or lettering sounds great to me. I am mainly a reader here, much more time in 50+ forum but this forum is so full of ideas and tips and is user friendly so I enjoy it here, too. Thanks for letting me lurk and occasionally post. I think the 50+ folks do a group jersey order every year or so, I think they spell out the minimums in one of their annual threads on the subject.
For me it would come down to price, design, and sizing. |
I would buy either way, but definitely need to at least have C&V on it.

Is wool comfortable in 100+ F and 90% Humidity in South Florida Summers? if so, I'm in if not, it would have to be some kind of blend.
