Park Discontinued Tools

I was down at my LBS this morning in need of a couple of tools, one of them being an adjustable lockring wrench. Turns out Park has discontinued the HCW-2 adjustable lock ring wrench and the replacement is a non-adjustable 2 sided thingamajig that hardly seems to fill the purpose of the tool its "replacing"

According to the guy there, Park is also stopping production on a couple sizes of Pin Spanner and some other useful old stuff.

So is there another brand that is gonna fill this void or are tools like the HCW-2 just gonna become really expensive on the used market?

**edit**

well, this is pretty similar to the HCW-2 but the hinged part looks quite a bit shorter

Var makes an adjustable lock ring wrench. The one you have pictured I use for the 3 sided style lock rings to remove but I prefer the plier for tightening it back up. Not much of a lever handle.

My lbs owner took one of the old park or campy BB lockring tools (I forget) with the multiple tabs and filed off all but 2 opposing.

Here's the best part - it fits the notches on some SA ball rings, no need to bash on them with a punch:

Doing it without bashing your knuckles on the spokes is another matter
