Love the bike... the tires are perfect for it. :thumb:

I never fell when starting out with clipless, but I suppose I am a young chap... I have fallen while riding clipless though, but not due to the clipless set up.

Your bike looks great. Where did you get those tires? I need to get some for my wife's Paramount.
Here's my wife's bike.

Pink is my favorite color. I have more shirts in pink than in any other color.

I'm guessing your Cannondale doesn't ride quite like your Ross. ;)

And I love parrots. They seem to like me. The really fussy African Gray in my local pet shop likes me but definitely not other customers.

There is a lot going on in terms of graphics and colors and I think you did a great job keeping it all tied in.

Whats the story of the frameset? Must of been some sorta team frame? Kinda like the polka dots on it. Really can't stand colored tires, such a 1996/97 de rigueur thing, or maybe a fix gear hipster deal haha.

speaking of pink, and cannondales... I got my '03 (I think) caad 7 frame redone:

Excellent!
What kind of tires are your running? I'm in the market for some 700x23 gumwall tires. How do you like yours?

Don't think I've ever seen tires make a bike pop more.

Spookeay, you've got to get that bike and that bird in a photo together. Not that I'm personally adept with colors, but I understand that pink and grey are very complimentary, and I can't say that I disagree.

Proof that pink and gray look ballin' together...

Spookeay Bird, I like it, it's Fun. The polka dots remind me of Wonder Bread.

Spookeay Bird 04-05-11 12:29 PM

LOL,,, Yep that's what my husband said. "What, are you riding for team Wounder Bread now?" I said no, it's just how it came out. The he said, "Well it's not bad for a 26 year old bike"

What size do you ride on vintage steel?

Spookeay Bird 04-05-11 06:10 PM

I'm not sure what size it is. Never thought to measure it.http://spookeaymarine.info/photos/rossrack3.jpg

This is why I was wondering... Lol. It's a 54cm. Needs some work, but is an awesome frame.
