Bikes: Two wheeled ones

So while riding without a helmet today...

and refusing to use the designated bike path, I came across a Rivendell being sold by a poor old woman in a wheel chair. She clearly didn't know what it was worth (Grant Peterson being the ultimate authority on all things bike) and I managed to get it from her for $50 and a new PB snickers bar. Before you judge, those PB snicker bars are GOOD!

So I brought it home and immediately began cleaning it up. I removed the shifter bosses and hangers, painted it in leopard spots and put on De Rosa stickers that I bought from Cyclomondo. I sold it to a hipster for $200 and made $100!

I left the lugs as they were because I like them so much more than IC lugs.

I then used that $100, with some other money, to get myself a brand new Bikesdirect Motobecane, with a carbon fork fork!

SCORE!

I call dibs on the drivetrain!

PB snickers are OK but I miss the PB Max bars, and I don't mean Parachuting Buffalo

It irks me that they made the PB snickers two squares instead of just a regular PB snickers...hence, I'm not a fan.
PB Max was about as good as it gets.
I love me some PB Twix!

I think you should wear a helmet. They save lives, don't they?

It's up to you to figure out whether that's a genuine picture with some photoshopping or not. For the record, I found out the 5000's were produced in Mexico, so they're subject to the same BB issue as any other.

That said, let me put it this way: With some careful editing in Adobe After Effects, I can make it appear as if I'm grinding off a dropout hanger in real time - without ever doing so.

Need the info ... always been my understanding that the 5000's were made in Italia. Of course, I always thought the pb Mini-Max was very light, but a little stiff.

I spoke with with member Benotto America at the LBS. I'm not sure how much of this info is free for the telling though, so I won't say anything further until I get his OK.

The Daily Telegraph ran a story on a character that fits that description.

Especially if the diameter of your, um, "seat post" is bigger than 27.2mm.

*AHEM* - Gentlemen, we really must get back on the topic of making outlandish, fake claims:

I drewed this Cilo!

(To be quite accurate, it was drewed - not by me - and was stolen from the owner recently. Shout out if you see it in the Miami area)

I singlespeeded a GMC Denali! The horror!

I turned a roadster into a roadbike!

I let my mother sell this on Craigslist!

I should post this in the '80s Thread!

I wrecked a bike!
