Bianchi Premio Special!
I had to impulse buy it
https://tippecanoe.craigslist.org/bik/2291176650.html
Thats the original posting- Heres what it became!

-----------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------

If anyone has additional information I'd be glad to hear it! I'm not entirely certain what year it is etc. I nabbed it for $100. The serial under the cranks is: 80519682
It has no rust on the frame or forks- I feel like i lucked out. If you cant see from the pictures the factory decals are also in awesome condition. Its not quite as light as my torpado but it sure is beautiful

nice score Dave. she cleaned up very nicely, and yes very lucky on the decals. do I see a Suntour 4050/3040 drivetrain? I believe that and the black rings make it an '88. the frame is lisdted as Tange DB in SuperSet design, but I believe that may be only the main tubes. the next model up is listed as Mangalloy stays so I am not sure if yours would be HiTen, Mangalloy or ChroMo. but whatever it is it should ride very well.

The Deraileur and records are compagnolo (i stripped em off my old torpado). The front deraileur is a suntour- and the back was originally as well. The little bianchi sticker says its Chrome Moly. Its odd that 88 doesnt show in the serial- i was assuming it was an 82
Thanks for the reply!

OH Bummer I never noticed. look for a serial number on the lower left side of the ST.

I am not sure, use a rubberband or a toe strap to keep the front wheel lined up with the frame. the folow the line of the fork. it does seem to curve back a bit. Sorry
this '87 Sport SX is close enough to be a cousin, look at the same line on it.
