What tire?

I bought a pair of Panaracer Col de la Vie tires for my new Raleigh Sports because Harris web site said they were so freakin great. They look great and ride beautifuly, but after years of never getting a single flat while using punture-resistant tires on m fixie, I get one after a week on the Panaracers. Oops, after all those years I kinda forgot that here in Philly, the streets are paved with shards of broken glass.
So, now I'm wondering - do I try a pair of Tuffys? I don't recall having luck with them in the past when I had a pair of Kendas that picked up ever screw, nail and shard of glass in the road, but I already have a pair. Or do I try to sell these tires on ebay and buy a pair of Delta Cruisers? or are Delta Cruisers not tough enough and I need Marathon Pluses? I read Velouria's post, but still...
On another note, how woud creme Deltas look on my bike anyway? I feel like it's made for gumwalls, but...

One flat is a very small sample to want to make changes. I'd give it more time. Flats seem as much a function of luck than of flat protection, in my view. I've only been on a brief ride on those 650A Col de la Vie tires, and they felt very nice. I've ridden them fairly extensively in 650B size and like them there, too. I have the Schwalbe creams on my all-chrome Sports, but that one's more of a show bike than a rider.
