Help identify this bike? (fangio)

Hello, first post here. I recently bought this fangio bike for 25 euro.
Could u help me find out more about it?
Tubing, year, etc..
I found out Fangio was a team in belgium, but that's about it.
Any info/help is very appreciated!

Welcome to thje forums. looks like nice bike. if the rear derailleur is original it looks like an '85ish bike. this may help some.

We've seen a lot of similar frames out of Benelux: some are built there, often they are built in Italy and "housebranded" in Benelux. Check the BB for type of threading (BSC: 1.37 x 24, Italian 36 x 24) check the seat post size (27.2 usually indicates a "higher grade tubing"), check the inside of the base of steering column for 5 spiral ridges ("rifling") that usually indicates some Columbus tubing. Many that looked similar to yours (spare chrome plating, Gipiemme dropouts) were made of Columbus Aelle, not top-of-range but a fine ride and excellent value...especially for 25 Euros.

thank u for the welcome and the help with the frame. I will check the dimensions tomorrow. Could be a nice frame for some vintage races, haven't seen alot of these.

Fangio was built somewhere in West-Flanders in Belgium. They supplied and sponsored several small Belgian pro-teams:

There's very little that i could find about them, but I remember the name from the time that i was racing. I wish i had one of their bikes!

I have some tubular tires marked Fangio 300 Servizio Corse that I bought on Ebay from a guy in northern France. I guess they must be pretty old but they've been real good so far.
