Cannondale Daze !--Update--5-15-11

i have been wanting and searching for a ''Big Tube" 3.0 Aluminum late 80's to early 90's mountain bike in a 22" size for the last six months ! when low and behold one shows up on my local CL, yes it is a project , and it's also has that CrAzy color combo, but thats just what i have been looking for ! this frame is just like my 89 Black Lightning, but in a smaller version

heres a picture of my finished Black Lightning, it needed alot of TLC , i believe the mountain bike should clean up pretty close to it.

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

I like the colors, now you have to spend countless hours on ebay looking for pink handlebars, bottle cages, grips, cable housing...

I wish I could find a Cdale MTB like the one I had with Olympus, but it would either cost a fortune or be really trashed.

mississippimud, Nice find and best of all it still has all three of it's top tube mounted rear brake cable guides... be careful with them as the supply is running out. I'd be so tempted to build it as a SS/FG flopper with bull horn bars.

It's a great bike and fast as can be. It was a joy when I had it but unfortunately it was just a tad too big for me.

I'll see your Black Lighting and raise you one Blue Sky ('93 R600 2.8).

Welcome to C&V. There are a few of us who find Cannondales intriguing. I have more than a few. All but one are road bikes, and the non-road bike isn't 10 years old yet.
