Very color coordinated. It's visually appealing. White would match the bartape and seat but black would match the lettering. Choices! Here's a purple bike I had with black tires if it helps:

I like that shade of purple, is it metallic? I think black tires would look nice since you ask, plus they won't get cruddy looking. I don't think the purple tires are bad though, it makes it kind of fun.

I love it. the white brightens the whole bike up. I would try some tires with a tan sidewall, a black tire may make it look dark again.

yes the computer is the very next thing, i will try to put it on this weekend!

i don't know about tan sidewalls on the tires, i just can't imagine, since it wouldn't match anything else..... maybe white sidewalls...?!?

I think a celeste bottle cage sounds good! Id either go with black or white tires. Probably black though, because white might not look so good once it instantly gets dirty. Black with white side walls is interesting, but do they make those for road tires or just wide 26 cruiser tires? nevermind, i just found some here, whatever this bike site is

https://www.custommotoredbicycles.com/700c_tires_2

Now i think white side walls is the way to go!

Bikes: a heavy old steel Frankenbike Gitane, a cruiser (not something I'd buy for myself, but it was a gift, what can you do?), a Greg Lemond, a Specialized Stumpjumper(old, steel, fully rigid), and a Specialized Safire

I LOVE the celeste housing. I didn't even know you could get that color! White was a good choice for saddle and bar tape. As for the tires, I vote for gum sidewalls too. Don't worry that there's no other tan on the bike- they'll match pretty much anything. White sidewall tires for those size wheels are hard to find and tend to be pretty crappy, and personally they remind me too much of a cruiser and look a little weird.
Another idea would be Vittoria Rubinos in black/celeste. Like here: https://store.citygrounds.com/store/p...Celeste-Black/

If you ever fall out of love with that bike, let me know. It's my size too, and I love purple!

White tires are HAWT on purple bikes. Just sayin'. And mine didn't get dirty-looking at all. I hated the gumwalls on mine, so I put these on. LOVED how they looked.

(formerly my) Panasonic DX-5000, Bicycle of the Gods:

Really like the Celeste brake housing on yours. Nice touch indeed.

Oh, and I have a purple bottle cage that I think is your color. RobbieTunes sent it to me, but it was the wrong purple for the Panasonic. Probably the right purple for your bike. Let me know if you want it, I'll send it to you for free.
