I think I just bought some track Lauterwassers
Do you guys think these are track (narrow) Lauterwassers?
I just bought'em for NZD $80 (about 60 greenbacks)

whether they are or not, I'm happy.
I will sand/emery them back, then have them nickelled, and put them on my 1917-20ish BSA Pathracer recreation with the Major Taylor stem I bought on a mystery bike for $100 a year or so ago. This will all take a while of course, and cost a dollar or two, but such is the joy of old bikes..

Yeah, those do look Lauterwasser-ish. Nice. I think there were other shapes that looked very similar, and they're all desirable. I don't think they were track bars; more for road racing. Track bars have more drop. And they're not Major Taylors, either... just don't look the same. But, as I said, nice! Congratulations!

Very, very nice grab! Photo is tough to tell but I think the end of the drops look too short to be Lauterwassers but on the plus side, they look much older. I've seen bars like that on pre-1900's machines like Daytons and Sterlings.

that is an awsome score. I can't really tell from the pics but the curve from center stem clamp towards the drop curve looks to have a smaller radius than my lauterwassers. what is the clamp diameter? mine has an annoying 23.8mm clamp.

Bikes: I've lost count.
you lucky, lucky bastid! I haven't been searching TradeMe for vintage bike parts lately. I would have been very tempted to bid on them. I have a similar pair of old bars that will go on one of my vintage project bikes one day.
