On the road again...

Yep, got my Miyata back on the road again. Put the black tektro R538 calipers on it. Pretty straight forward. installed the front on the rear and used the old "half-moon" hardware. Had already taken the front end apart since I needed to inspect for crash damage (thats another story) and drilled out the rear hole and added a bit of a counter sink so the allen nut would be flush. The drill press made this very easy and accurate. Went to my LBS and after the wrench spent about ten minutes searching through every drawer and bin he found a long "campy" recessed nut that extended pretty much through the entire fork, worked perfect. Replaced the old derailler, crash casualty, with a nice shiny VGT Luxe, thanks to Khatfull, and it's good to go. Sorry no pics, I was busy riding it yesterday instead of a photo shoot. Maybe this evening.
