Bikes: Two wheeled ones

Colorful Alternative to Rattle-canning

I came across this beauty on the way home from breakfast. No more needs be said, these photos speak for themselves.

Actually, I like it. Doubt I'd do it, but give the guy props for ingenuity.

Well, that is quite a theft deterrent!

I have a different thought.

I'm going to have the kids in my class spray a rusty Trek mtb frame.

Maybe a 930, but really, who cares.

In the stripper as we speak.

....and no, the kids won't get near the stripper.

Heaven only knows what it will look like, but I am bringing it to school next week.

Our art teacher is being enlisted for this little "fun" project.

I am building it up for my youngest son to hit the river bottoms with us this summer.

I will show the kids some of Dario's handywork for inspiration.

Yes...that saddle position is definitely original.

If I even tried to say this with a straight face, my wife would slap me...

But seriously some where on BF a guy coated his whole frame with reflective tape. It was a very good job on a Schwinn if I remember corectly

Bit of a letdown that the dropouts aren't taped. Way to ruin the theme, dude!

The tape would cost more than the bike.

It would be a great prank if one had the time and an abundance of cheap tape.

To each his own.

The tape covers up the gum holding the bike together?

Yeah, I liked that one.
Here in The City they put handlebar tape all over their bikes.

I tried to explain that Zebra to my kids. Like some threads, it was fruitless without pictures.

I found a site with a pic of a little figurine but I could not copy and paste it.

The thought of the owner standing back when finished and saying to his/herself, "Yeah...., that's it!"
