Help me choose my new handle bars

I'm about to put some nicer bars on my 3 speed:

And can't decide between these:

or

I'm after an almost-porteur style effect, which would seem to be the latter, although I haven't seen these bars on any other bikes....

Anyone got examples of either on a bike like mine? I'm struggling to decide

I don't have any experience with them...but...the 2nd bars would definitely fill the porteur role more easily...IMHO.

You might take a look at the VO porteur bars as well...given the strength or the GBP and/or Euro. the shipping shouldn't be a big deal...

I haven't tried the VO Porteur bars, but I did recently put their Milan bars on a bike and I'm very pleased. Excellent hand position and they certainly look the part.

Best picture I could find.

I have the VO porteur bars on the '68 Super Course...I like that they are not huge/oversized. I have Nitto Albatross bars on the Huffeigh and they are a bit much...nice for cruising though, I suppose.

Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.

I really like the V-O "Montmartre" bar. Its quite comfortable and not super wide.
I had a hard time deciding between that, the "Left Bank" and the "Belleville" bars from Velo-Orange. I tried the Nitto Albatross. Its nice but kinda huge.

Agreed. It's a big mofo.

Right - I've gone for the porteur bars - UK store though as they were only £10!

If I don't like them I haven't lost much ;-)
