UPDATE!!! I got a new Buddy
Well, after giving it a lot of thought, we picked up my new friend today. She is a 2 year old Bloodhound/St Bernard mix and she is just wonderful. It is my Fathers day gift from my wife and son. We drove 2 hours today to get her, and it was worth the trip. We are so glad we could save this gem.

What a face!!
That one will eat you out of house and home.
We've also found our "hybrids" to be healthier than our purebreds.
Non-scientific to be sure.

Well, the family we got her from adopted her from a foster home when she was 11 weeks old. The mom and dad are in the process of getting a divorce, and the mom just can not handle three children, and 2 dogs and one cat. She really did not want to part with Hannah, but she was just too big for her to care for.
Hannah came from down south, but I have to go throught all the paperwork to see where. She is just a calm dog with a great manner, and I am so lucky to have her.
Yes, her paws are huge.......

Hannah looks like a wonderful dog Capecodder. I love her markings and coat and kind face. Somehow I think she knows she's found a permanent home.

Now that is one sweet looking dog! Mixed breeds are awesome and I am sure she has a great personality that will prove to be just the kind of dog you want and need; one that is a really good friend to pal around with everywhere. I am happy to see that you chose to get a good dog that needed a good home instead of being a customer for more puppies. I hope she brings you a lot of happiness!
