Classic front derailleur for a wide-triple
Working on the Mercian, and have a Campagnolo Rally with Campy bar-ends and Stronglight 26-44-48 chainrings, but need a FD. I know of no period Campy FD's which will handle both a 22T difference and half-step. If I wanted something that worked well, I would just go Suntour on the entire thing, but I am working more for a period piece (late 70's to 1981).
Any suggestions?

FWIW, I've used a Campy Record FD with 26-45-50 chainrings without problems.

Good to know. Will have to try it. It is amazing how many things that are not supposed to work, actually do.
