Favorite drink while riding....

I use a water and Gatorade mix, but I use the powdered mix so I can make a weaker solution. I sweat too much for water alone and at this time of year it can over 90 by 8:00 AM.

Water, water and more water, with the current heat. If it is a longer ride I might drink small amounts of sweet tea and I don't mean that bag in the box crap, I want fresh brewed. Winter rides I will drink some water, but usually stop for a brew up of hot tea somewhere along the way, a finger or two of brandy, single malt or Irish mist goes down good too.

I carry water, but when I stop at a convenience store I'll buy whatever looks good. Gatorade, coffee, tonic water.... On a cold day, hot coffee tastes really good.

I don't hydrate, I drink when I'm thirsty. Just like my dog.
Most of my rides are 8 to 10 miles. I keep a couple of ounces of whatever blue gatorade type stuff my wife keeps in the fridge. Two or three swallows satisfies me.
At home its generally water. Occasionally a beer but only if my day's work is done. Other than that alcohol, even in total moderation, makes me lethargic. (Been that way for a couple of years)
Oh, and I eat what I want to eat. Not much processed foods, just good red meat, italian sausage (and the like) plus big, big, salads.
I ride a bike like my parents rode. I eat, basically, like they ate. I worry about none of this. And if I live as long as my predecessors (up to 103) I'll be more than content.

Mostly I drink water, but I also make and drink switchel during long hot outdoor summer days. Switchel is sort of an old timey gatorade drunk while mowing the fields with a scythe (drive-by C&V content). Main ingredients are a sweetner like molasses/syrup/brownsugar/etc, apple cider vinegar, and a flavoring like mint or ginger. I make it pretty strong and keep in the fridge, then add a little bit to a lot of water when I want a drink. It tastes a lot better than it sounds, and doesn't have all the unpronounceable chemicals in it that sport drinks do. Coconut water is great too, but I got used to fresh while living in the tropics and haven't found anything that tastes right out of a can. Recommendations in this regard would be welcome.
Fascinating! I've got to try this!

Sunny, humid, and over 90 like it's been lately, water, water, water. Often more water when I get home. Then a good beer once I cool down and get myself refreshed some. I'll still drink water when it's not as hot, but often also an iced latte/coffee right as I head out, and the beer is pretty much as soon as I get back.

As in dew from a mountain? Or is that moonshine of some sort?
This thread reminds me of when I was 18 or so, I had this Colombian gentleman I worked with at a Diner meet me after school on a Friday. He'd get me two 40 oz bottles of Crazy Horse Malt Liquor, and I'd ride home on my dad's "10 speed" with them both in my school backpack, in place of my school books.
I'm never letting my son leave the house when he gets older.

I make my own mix:
2 c sugar
1 c maltodextrin
3 pkg lemon kool-aid (or if you're hard-core, 3 tsp citric acid)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp lite salt
1 Tbsp to 1.5 Tbsp per 24-ounce bottle of water. Way cheaper than Gatoraid and no HFCS. Good hydration and easy absorption of the carbs. But I carry a bottle of plain water, too.
