She doesn't seem too impressed with the Masi :)

Does she rub up against all your bikes?

Took me two days to get the photo - she always gets up and walks toward me when I wanted to take a photo. She pretty much avoids the bikes although the chainring on the Masi gives her a little scratch on the back when she goes to lie down on the floor.

After taking a long hiatus from shooting sports, I was convinced to do a black powder "woods walk" last weekend. You shoot at gongs, cards, chains, ect, ect. Out of 25 seasoned shooters, I scored 7th, which was enough to get a prize! First time doing flintlock, and I would guess it's not my last. Here are a couple of lousy and quick camera shots of the rifle I borrowed, which is made by a local guy.

Top is the smooth bore, bottom is the rifle I used. Both are made by the same guy:

The end of the barrel on my borrowed rifle:

There's a snowshoe/black powder biathlon in a couple of weeks....hmmmmm :)

I forgot what snow looked like... Was one hell of a drive yesterday.

Thanks... Will try and get some better ones with the Canon now that the sun is up, might get some interesting light and at -24 it isn't going to melt.

Started a "365 Project" again this year. My very original theme  this year will be only phone camera photos processed through Instagram.http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8211/8...778eb07b_o.jpghttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8045/8...5030e68e_o.jpg

And one regular pic from this mornings ride:

That's a great picture.

And you couldn't ask for better weather for a ride than what we had in DFW today.

I usually carry a Canon A630 Powershot (8.0), also have a more compact and packable Kodak 8.2 which takes fairly decent shots.

The A630 is now my preferred camera for pretty much everything and believe more than a few professionals liked and carried this camera since it does everything so very well even when it is in point and shoot mode... it make my amateurish work look better than it should. :)

The Canon lenses and sensor are excellent, it is rare I have to do anything but re-size and crop images as the raw images are very good whereas with my Kodak I usually need a little post op touching up and it hates low light situations.

If you see attached images it usually means I am using my Blackberry Playbook from somewhere on the road... I have been quite pleased with it's simple camera.
