Way to go!

That's the way to do it.

Catch them early and start them off with nice bikes. :)

Merry christmas to you and our family! Nothing like getting a nice bike on such an occasion, I wish people would still do that to me now that I'm a sort-of grown up :)

Speaking of holidays...

Yesterday (Sunday) our quartet had our annual singing engagement on the Queen Mary 2 while she's docked in Brooklyn. We do Christmas carols in four part harmony as the passengers are boarding for a cruise. That's My Lovely Wife™ standing next to me.

I even got a shot of a cyclist who appeared to be just tooling around.

It's a pretty big ship, huh?

New Brakes, Stem, and wheels for my Competition. Christmas shake down. Front brakes squeelin' but all else is great.

I think it is a 55-58 cm. We have three others (not orange, and not from Edmonton). Is it just the dealer decal you want, or is it the bike??

A 55cm orange AO8 would be pretty cool... just need a frame and fork and the George's sticker makes it pretty cool.

Shipping might be the deal killer though.

This shop was located not far from where I hope to be opening up my new shop... we see a lot of frames here with those sticklers as the shop was open for many years and sold a crapload of bicycles.

My P20 was originally sold through George's as well.

I will take a closer look by the end of the week.

Just back from a quick trip to TX for my son's graduation from TLU.

Stayed up at the folk's cabin at Canyon Lake (north of SanAntonio), some pretty country up there.

Lots of these road hazards!
Kept eying the roads, thinking it would be a blast to ride around the lake, about 60 miles....but some of those roads...VERY narrow, no shoulders, loose rock, blind corners....and some gear grinding/chain-breaking/Brake Melting hills!

For all you Francophiles out there. I saved a couple of vintage items from an unwanted old wheel.

When everything is built of concrete and stone, you can get away with things like this. Normally though, they are well above street level. We passed this one, at sidewalk level, on our way to breakfast.
