Not C&V but I will have two ecstatic 10 yo girls on Christmas morning - just finished putting them together.

Yesterday (Sunday) our quartet had our annual singing engagement on the Queen Mary 2 while she's docked in Brooklyn. We do Christmas carols in four part harmony as the passengers are boarding for a cruise. That's My Lovely Wife™ standing next to me.
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-l...0/IMG_2501.JPG I even got a shot of a cyclist who appeared to be just tooling around. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-0...0/IMG_2500.JPG It's a pretty big ship, huh? https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-C...0/IMG_2499.JPG |
Cool pics Tom.

New Brakes, Stem, and wheels for my Competition. Christmas shake down. Front brakes squeelin' but all else is great.

I think it is a 55-58 cm. We have three others (not orange, and not from Edmonton). Is it just the dealer decal you want, or is it the bike??
Shipping might be the deal killer though. This shop was located not far from where I hope to be opening up my new shop... we see a lot of frames here with those sticklers as the shop was open for many years and sold a crapload of bicycles. My P20 was originally sold through George's as well. |
I will take a closer look by the end of the week.

Just back from a quick trip to TX for my son's graduation from TLU.
http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/p...psdc59fc37.jpg Stayed up at the folk's cabin at Canyon Lake (north of SanAntonio), some pretty country up there. http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/p...psc6ded4b6.jpg Dawn on Canyon Lake http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/p...psbad5bb46.jpg Lots of these road hazards! Kept eying the roads, thinking it would be a blast to ride around the lake, about 60 miles....but some of those roads...VERY narrow, no shoulders, loose rock, blind corners....and some gear grinding/chain-breaking/Brake Melting hills! |

For all you Francophiles out there. I saved a couple of vintage items from an unwanted old wheel.

When everything is built of concrete and stone, you can get away with things like this. Normally though, they are well above street level. We passed this one, at sidewalk level, on our way to breakfast.
