Pulled up next to him and asked what model car he had? He said he built it himself from the frame up.

Isn't this a Donkervoort that comes as a knock-down kit that the owner can assemble? Sorta like a bike?

I had to Google Donkervoort but yes seems like it is. The conversation happened so quickly he didn't mention that name. Awesome car kit build tho

Kit car, for those that could not afford/find the original Lotus Super 7....high end replica unlike "some" of the Porsche speedster and Shelby Cobras.
