Tried out my new pre-owned white Avocet O2 40r saddle. Didn't know they came in white. I was very happy to find one.

The weather was beautiful around Seattle area. It is a rarity this time of year.

The cat is thinking: "If he crosses that line then I'll swat him."
Dog is thinking: "Foolish cat, I'll pretend to be asleep while I sneak my paw across the line, WINNER".

The dog PWN3D the cat repeatedly when he was a puppy and is frankly not very disturbed when the cat catches its claws in the dog's nose, eyelid, etc. We had to separate them several times. The cat would run off the corner snarling while the dog thought it was great fun.

actually it was weird. In philly when i passed people on a mup they'd ignore me. Today joggers and cyclists alike all smile or nod at your. I'm not used to all these nice people, it's kinda pissing me off.

Thanks! I tried to get the most professional looking shots out of my crappy megazoom digicam - basicly a point'n shoot with a big integrated lens. Turns out that low iso, low exposure shots still can get very sharp and quite artistic. Saving up for a dslr though, I just need to stop spending so much on bikes and booze

Keep the megazoom digicams around though . The're less finicky about shocks, moisture , dust, and the innumerable things that happen on bikes .

My room mate and another guy I ride with out hiking/scouting new trails to ride. This particular spot was as flat as it got. There are parts that will definitely be walked if we attempt to ride them.

I finally put the Moto Grand Jubile back together enough to ride, still got some work to do on it but at least it is now back in one assembly. Weather was nice enough, between jobs, had a little spare time, so I rode it down to Lake Michigan and took a couple of pics.
The one with the bike laying down is an oops, that's what happens when you try to get too slick and tricky.
Another one is just a horizon alignment showing the saddle and stem relative heights.
Geese are still around here, so far it's been a relatively mild winter.

Been spending an excessive amount of time these past 2 weeks fixing my wife's E39 528i.
An alarmingly worsening grinding noise from the rear made me suspect the rear differential was damaged. After a torturous swap, it wasn't the cause. (And I missed the Giants beat the 49ers.
I just finished replacing the next likely suspect, a wheel bearing.
Here, I was using my make-shift press tool to mount the hub to the new bearing. Consisted of a threaded rod, nuts, washers, press plates and for C&V relevance...an old BB cup that fit the flange perfectly. If I can press headsets this way, why not!
Unfortunately, the wheel bearing didn't correct the problem either.
To add insult to injury, the passenger window is stuck half open, and the ABS system is throwing a warning. This car is a PITA.
