Wow! My '71 looks almost as nice, except for the dulled chrome on the fork crown. Maybe I should consider selling it

There was another that closed out the other day - very, very nice used condition - for half that. And, even though it was in super shape, I thought $1300 or so was stretching it.

After all, it is a Raleigh.

Surprised me, but I guess there's 2 happy people now, the buyer and the seller. I have a pretty original '70 one now. Back when I was in college, that's the bike I wanted but could never afford.

I am making no accusations, but sometimes when things on ebay don't make sense - it's because they aren't real. I've seen a few crazy sales before where the bike ended up back on the site a month later.
