12th round score!

Hi friends! I acquired this Schwinn Voyageur 11.8. It appears to be all chrome, and from 1981. I bought it from a gentleman that received it from his father, but never rode it, and stored it in his shed. Please let me know what you think. It definitely needs new bar tape to remove that foamy one! :-) I appreciate your comments and feedback. Please forgive me for those poor pics. Thanks!

I have no need in another ride. But, if I had come across that chrome 11.8, I would have snatched it up in a heartbeat.

Congrats on a nice pick up.

Here in Australia we don't really know the Schwinn marque all that well - we are the poorer in that regard. It looks wonderful. I would love to have s Schwinn and a Chrome Schwinn would be even better. I know of the Paramounts and would love one of those but a Voyager is new to me. Is it a slick 'around town' bike?

They're on the slightly heavy side, with stock components, but grand riders and gorgeous gals.
