Bikes: trek 4800, trek 4300, trek 1.5, nashbar touring frame build, 1985 takara medalion, 1982 motobicane mirage sport and a few pieced together rigs
1983 Trek 500
I found myself a 1983 Trek 500 for $130. I tore it down to the raw frame and built it back up needing only bar tape, brake cables and derailer cables(optional). I have a set of Dia-comp brake hoods on order as I type this. Total investment is unde $150 and the bike rides like a dream. Missed out on a Bridgstone 400 for $70 the same day, win some loose some.
