Okay, you asked for it. I counted 14 NOS New Departure arms in my box to go into the BOC. They are heavy steel, so I might keep a few for myself so the box doesn't weigh so much.

Okay, so what was the verdict... if Tom doesn't deliver the BOC by tomorrow evening, shall I start a new one on its way? If so, to whom shall I send it? I don't really care, I just feel bad for ******ing the box's progress. And I still have plenty of crap.

Should be no need for someone to give away a box of their own stuff, can we pin down where this thing is? Anyone know Tom (assuming he has it)?

I am still a hair confused about what I am supposted to do with the crap, if and when it ever makes it here. Do I

- empty it and fill it with something else?
- simply add more crap and send it on?
- go MIA for five weeks and let everyone wonder what happened to it?

I added numbers to avoid confusion! I believe #2 is correct, #1 is acceptable, and #3 is... well, sadly, not unprecedented.

I would put it like this: take what you want, add more of what you don't want (especially if you think someone else might) and send iit on ASAP.

And don't sell anything you might pull out on Ebay :)

I'm new to this game, but definitely have some stuff I can throw in. How long has the queue become since the box has been semi-stolen? Do I even have a shot at getting this sometime in 2012?

Looks like that's the deal, I say bypass Tom, don't include him in anything similar ever again, and send a new box on to the next participant.

It's really too bad this went south - we got the box to 7 recipients in a little over one month, then to only 2 in two months; how ironic that the change to the original pecking order was intended to speed up the process with a person-to-person NY/NJ triple play!

DD, I think everybody here is befuddled about what happened. I think it wouldn't be so frustrating were it not for the fact that Tom has been regularly posting throughout this debacle. <sigh>

We definitely need to exclude Tom from future BOC passarounds like this or else...

I can't believe it has led to this, what about the stuff that other people already put in the box it's like stealing, I mean I know Tom had good intentions but is it that hard to mail a package especially after reading all the crap we are giving him.
