Squeak, squeak, squeak....
My Raleigh Superbe has developed a squeak in the front wheel. Seems to happen once per revolution. It's not a rubbing sound, but a definite squeak (!). It's not the brake pads or fender, nor does anything else appear to be touching it. I suspect it's coming from the hub. How does one oil a dyno hub? I squirted a bit of oil randomly around the axle-y bit inside the nuts, but to no avail. And hopefully the solution doesn't involve take the wheel off because for some reason it's very difficult to get on and off (you have to spring the forks).
Also, what should I use to glue cork grips on? I tried hairspray (someone told me to try it) and it didn't work. Can I use caulking?
Thanks!

Try barge cement on the handlebars with the cork. Have you looked at any bicycle repair manuals in regards to overhauling your dyno hub?

barge cement? I'll have to google that one!!
I have looked at the Sheldon Brown article on servicing them, but I really don't want to disassemble it unless I really have to. I was hoping that I might be able to oil it from the outside somehow or that there is a place that is usually a squeaker.

I've heard similar squeaks where the tire rubs against the rim. Try spraying silicon spray or maybe wd40 between the tire and rim.
