Got the secret decoder ring yet? Know the handshake? Meetings are held on the fifth Friday of the month, at dusk in the old tree house. climb the ladder, knock on the trapdoor & say, "Emilio sent me"...

supposedly it's a '72 Professional Record Supercorsa, but we'll see.
ok, fine here it is.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/320756808710...84.m1439.l2649
took the pics from the auction:
https://picasaweb.google.com/1133647...6256857/Frejus
it was a last second ebay bid, me being the only bidder. The guy had been trying to sell it for a while, and in fact when he started the auction I offered him $280 in cash in person pickup when I thought I'd be over that way. he declined. Instead I got it for that and paid in through paypal, so I guess he had to pay some ebay/paypal fees instead.
Anyhow, I'm ok with the price though maybe I could have gotten it cheaper if I waited for him to maybe relist it cheaper. I dunno. So it was sort of an impulse buy. I'm giving myself a temporary self imposed Ebay ban. I have been out of control lately.
Though I did net the frejus, an TA crankset and ring, and a set of NOS bluemels yesterday
Yup, off to rehab I am.

I want to be a Frejus owner. It's a grail bike for me.
You got a terrific price.

Congratulations! Nice frame: how will you build it?

Welcome to the club. Decoder ring? You fabricating those Aixaix? I think you got that frame for a steal, even with the paint issues. I can't understand why it went for that price, but, good for you. Can't wait to see it built.
I might add; strange place for the Reynolds decal. But, mine is a somewhat odd place too.

Yeah, but that one's a 60x58 and your bikes show more seat post than mine. I'm not saying I want it now because I don't. You have your fun with it and then offer it to me at a modest profit once you've gotten your jollies. It's a win-win, buddy.

Tie true though, this thing is at the low end size wise of what I ride.

I was watching that auction too. It's my size and the price looked pretty good. Hope you enjoy it.

I am also a Frejus owner myself, i scored mine complete for $125. Didn't have most of the original parts but came with mostly campagnolo and a suntour superb pro RD. I am currently restoring it to the best of my ability but am having a terrible time finding the original parts. In my opinion, just build it up with all italian components thats what i'm doing. It'll be mine when he's bored of it or the "impulse purchase guilt" starts to eat at him. I ride a 60cm, live about 6 miles from him, always seem to have other bike stuff he needs, I'm easy and it will go away, forever. The call me "The enabler"........

Nice! How about we all split time with it... I'll take the three summer months. Colonel, fender and holiday... you can each have your own season. Maybe you should get on ebay and look for snow tires next?

Nice bike, smart shopper. It's too big for me and there's no room in my garage so I'm just going to encourage you to enjoy it.
