The Brooks Glenbrook had both a quick-release system and a "through the loops" setup. The QR system was standard from Brooks, and it really is to die for. I've made a few, custom-fab, for my saddle bags that I've sold. Additionally, Brooks had a seatpost clamp rack kind of thing that supported it from underneath. I've only seen a few sell on the bay (around $30 or so, used, generally rusty), but they are a great way to support a trunk bag if you don't have a rack.

Dug out said rack, snapped a photo or two. This is an NOS one I got in passing, on accident.

I'm hoping you are correct. That is a really nice looking mount.

Is this it?

It's just this, right: http://www.rivbike.com/products/show...p-nitto/20-109

They don't show it on a B67 - but I don't see why it wouldn't work as show in your picture.

You guys are great. Thank you for finding it. Now to cook up adapters to mount it on a springer.

These look like the same model. My guess is you won't have to do a thing to adapt it to a sprung Brooks.

You are correct. This is why I keep coming back here.

But I have to wonder why? The big saddle bag seems inherently floppy, high up, possibly awkward. I just wonder whats the attraction.

Classic style is a big reason. Isn't that why most of us are here in the C&V forum? I'm that guy that goes to the LBS and turns down functional solutions because someone has GOT to make one that looks better.

I'm with you there. IMO, a lot of the bikes made today are just ugly. Performance isn't everything.
