The Brooks Glenbrook had both a quick-release system and a "through the loops" setup. The QR system was standard from Brooks, and it really is to die for. I've made a few, custom-fab, for my saddle bags that I've sold. Additionally, Brooks had a seatpost clamp rack kind of thing that supported it from underneath. I've only seen a few sell on the bay (around $30 or so, used, generally rusty), but they are a great way to support a trunk bag if you don't have a rack.

Dug out said rack, snapped a photo or two. This is an NOS one I got in passing, on accident.

They don't show it on a B67 - but I don't see why it wouldn't work as show in your picture. -adam |
Nicely done, Brockd15!

I respect that the OP has considered what he wants.
. But I have to wonder why? The big saddle bag seems inherently floppy, high up, possibly awkward. I just wonder whats the attraction. . |

Classic style is a big reason. Isn't that why most of us are here in the C&V forum? I'm that guy that goes to the LBS and turns down functional solutions because someone has GOT to make one that looks better.
