Question about Sugino DAC crankset
Dear C&V'ers
I'm a young newbie who has been working on a Bridgestone RB-2 (1992). It's a really nice ride. The only problem is the drive side crank extractor threads are stripped. I can't seem to find any information on the DAC crankset that came stock on this model. Google and other searches only link to the Bridgestone catalog; does anyone have any idea on the BB spindle length that would have been used?
Barring finding a replacement, do you have any suggestions on a similar crankset that might be easier to find? New or vintage is OK. I'm aware of the Sugino RD2 that can be converted to a double chain ring, but this would require changing out the BB (might not be a bad idea anyway).
Thanks in advance,
Ben
