It's that special time of the year: FALL PHOTOS!

This has to be a favorite time of the year for most riders. Surroundings are changing in color, temperature is dropping, and leaves are falling. Its the last few weeks of bearable riding weather/climate before packing it in for the winter (for most).

So in appreciation, post up those fall inspired photos.

One from today. While riding, I stumbled upon this beautiful alley in east Philly off of center city.

Lovely and fitting "frame" for your mighty cool bike. There's altogether an aspect of timelessness present. The lines, the colors. Great photo.

I'm in Texas, so you'll have to give me a month or so... Great photo, though. And great picture thread idea!

Looking beautiful up there Frank. What with the salt influx from Irene we'll be lucky to see any Fall colors here on the Cape. Nice shots, bikes or no.

Would that be Elfreth's Alley? Their claim is the oldest residential street in America. More suitable to a mountain bike than a fixie.

After a quick google search, its Naudain St. I was looking for said street above or one's alike. Where you are referring to is actually right down the street. And thank you, that name slipped my mind in searching for it numerous times

Going camping this weekend with some bike friends. I'll have to see if there is anything remotely fall like happening.

We stopped on the way back from our Saturday ride to Lake Minnetonka at Minnehaha Falls.

Plenty of fall color in the Mississippi River Valley right now, but it never seems to last that long.

We've had a week's worth of 80 degree plus days, and today is another in a delightful string.

Gave the Colnago a great workout today trying to keep up with Mrs. Gomango's riding group.

The scenery from the back of the pack was lovely!

Yeah. We really don't have a "Fall" to speak of in my neck of the woods, either. It has gotten a little cooler though (only got into the low 80s today). Great cycling weather, though.

It gets 20 below here for weeks at a time during winter and in the spring we have flies that actually take bites out of your flesh and mosquitos swarms that look like a fog bank . We get rain nearly every day in the summer so we certainly deserve the prettiest fall.. and today was perfect, clear and cool. Good luck on the bike search!

No bike, but I passed this while on my way to a job site the other day. We're definitely not into the leaf color change stages yet.

Fall in the Bay Area is like extended summer up until mid October. My son's b-day picnic and I'm up early claiming a good spot in the park. Pine needles are always falling aren't they?

Wow. It didn't seem to be autumn yesterday but it clearly is today! Here are photos from my October century ride today.

"Say hello to my leetle friend" - a good sized water moccasin was basking on the road until I came along and disturbed it.

Tomorrow we're expecting rain, but today I ride!
