Did Lemond wear yellow riding for Gitane?
Just curious.....looking at the cover of my first edition Lemond bike book from the 80s, he is riding that great blue gitane and it looks like he is wearing the yellow tour de france jersey. I didnt know he got that at any time during his first tour.

Nope. He wore yellow in Tour de l'Avenir and the Dauphine while with Renault though (riding Gitane).
