Delta brakes

How well will they stop me?

I know they are a pain to adjust and limited in the tires you can run.

Can you get them to work a bit.

BTW; I live in New Orleans, no hills here at all. Only 1 overpass!

Campagnolo Delta Brakes work seamlessly as long as they are properly adjusted and have the necessary clearance between the tire and the calipers. You will need a allen wench that is available on line, the size is 3.5mm and should cost under $10.00. Here's a link:

They get you on shipping

On my Gios Professional they function flawlessly and LOOK great!

They work perfectly well if used in the appropriate situation and adjusted properly and with fresh pads.

I agree, like all brakes if correctly setup and adjusted they work well. if you looking to buy a set look for the "Power Grade" style Csmpi levers to pair with them.

With Delta Brakes you do not need to pray to the bike gods liek when you have rod brakes.

A Hindu devotee offers prayers to the sun after taking holy dips in the River Ganges on the first day of Navratri festival, in Allahabad, India, Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011. Navaratri, the festival of nine nights, is devoted to the worship of Durga, the Hindu goddess of valor, Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, and Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. OK OK so he is praying to the sun, still a great pic

found out today that the size 20T torx wrench will substitute for the 3.5 allen wrench size.

Bikes: See my sig...

I think I must be the only human being that does not find these brakes to be attractive.

I know... heresy.

Maybe not the only one, BUT one of the few for sure!

I just over paid for a bike with Delta brakes, that and it was the bike I wanted growing up;

I agree with you. I prefer double pivots myself. Or some of those "monoplanar" brakes.

I like the way Deltas sell.

Other than that, OFG gave me a good tip a year or two ago about Centaur Skeletons.

I currently have a pair on my Kvale, and they are fantastic.

I also have a pair of Chorus Skeletons that were on my Tommasini.

Easily the best pure stopping power I've experienced in brakes, so it makes it easy to pass on the "Delta" experience.

Yes, they do work just fine.

Once they are set up.

It was too tempting for me, as the $$$ they sell at made it a no brainer.

That, plus the fact most of bikes run modern Campy, allowed me to say goodbye to a pretty face.
