Please explain this "$15 Paramount"
If this was already posted, sorry but I must have missed it.
I'm not prepared to believe this is real, but I can't quite put my finger on the scam. Anyone?

Bikes: 1940s Fothergill, 1959 Allegro Special, 1963? Claud Butler Olympic Sprint, Lambert 'Clubman', 1974 Fuji "the Ace", 1976 Holdsworth 650b conversion rando bike, 1983 Trek 720 tourer, 1984 Counterpoint Opus II, 1993 Basso Gap, 2010 Downtube 8h, and...
I think someone made a little mistake that may eat into his profit margin a bit.
I'm kinda wishing I'd seen it before someone else bought it! Not that I need another bike, but it does seem a pretty good deal.
Oh, I see I'm late to the party. Never mind!

Bikes: Upright and Recumbent....too many to list, mostly Vintage.
I've made a couple of frame and whole bike purchases on ebay where the shipping was quoted at something stupidly low like 14 bux or 20 bux or whatever...in all cases the bike arrived poorly packed...in a couple of cases just tossed in a box with no padding.
Each time I balked (although only a little because I knew what the response was gonna be) and each time it was someone who'd never shipped a bike and had no idea how much shipping was gonna cost and excused their packaging job by saying that the shipping costs ate into their profit on the sale. Not my problem jack, but it becomes my problem if the thing gets damaged in shipping. I don't avoid auctions with unrealistically low shipping costs, but I do steel myself for what's coming and expect the worst and a bit of back and forth with the seller. .... That's the price you pay for a bargain though
