Specialized handelbars

Last week I bought a Specialized handlebar, similar to the Scott drop-in, the one that greg lemond was using.
The only markings on it are Specialized, the Roman numeral V and the size. Does anyone have any information. Here are some pictures.
The plastic wrapper says made in japan.
