Welcome to C&V Gunnar and like, WOW - That's a pretty impressive collection!
(My fav is the McLean)

gomango 11-20-11 09:10 PM

Welcome to a fellow Minnesotan!

Thanks again for showing my nice Chris Kvale frameset on your delightful blog.

I still have it, but I am a patient man! :)

You have so many beautiful bikes, it is quite challenging to choose a favorite.

Did you get much fresh snow yesterday?

Finally, I have "growlery" envy.

Roger M 11-20-11 09:11 PM

Wow.. what an intro.

Welcome to the C&V. realyl nice group of bikes..really nice

You should post some embedded images ^ to get everyone's attention here, Gunnar.

Did you know your McLean is my size?

RFC 11-20-11 09:17 PM

Yah sure, you betcha, that is a very beautiful collection.

Gunnar Berg 11-20-11 09:17 PM

Just a light dusting of snow. Gone as soon as the sun hit it.

Your Kvale is very nice. If I remember correctly will take a very specific body type - long torso as I recall.

We don't have to pick favorites. I do know that if I had to keep just one, it would be the cream and blood Kvale. An amazing bicycle to ride.

Gunnar Berg 11-20-11 09:19 PM

Another McLean, for sale if you need a 56.

That sure is beautiful Gunnar, but it's about $1700 more than I'm accustomed to paying! ;)

A gorgeous bicycle for sure.

I really enjoyed reading about "the process" on your blog.

...and yes, it will take a long torso to find true happiness with my spare Kvale.

I'll post pics of my "other" in progress Kvale one of these days.

Chris really builds exquisite framesets in my opinion.

Oh, if I had a spare amount of change, that blue McLean would have been purchased yesterday.

I'll get around to one eventually.

...and please check my Flickr link for St. Paul weather history.

This is the nicest bike I've ever seen.. with stem shifters and a pants deflector on the chainring. I love the selection of parts on this. The brake combination is great. Great thought put into this.

I just noticed my "Junior Member" designation. At this point in my life I kinda like that. I'm really fed up with that senior citizen tag. Except for the discounts.

Good night gentlemen.

Gunnar Berg 11-20-11 10:03 PM

Thank you Roger. It ain't done yet. ;-) Maybe by next Spring.

WNG 11-20-11 11:04 PM

Welcome! What a collection you have! The ghost of Elvis is spectacular. And the details on the mixte are fantastic. Thanks for sharing these works of art.

KonAaron Snake 11-20-11 11:08 PM

I'm digging the Mooney!

+1. Whoa.

zukahn1 11-20-11 11:40 PM

I like the almost insane tight geometry for a large frame bike on the McClean we just need to see it a second time. With more and better pics.

Puget Pounder 11-20-11 11:55 PM

This thread would be 100x more awesome if we didn't have to work for the pics!

randyjawa 11-21-11 03:49 AM

The OP has some pretty nice bikes, and my personal favorite is the green one...
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-2...%252520008.jpg

I have owned a few old road bikes, over the years, and still have a few tucked away...

jr59 11-21-11 05:17 AM

+1 to what every one else here has said.

Some very nice rides you have.

Michael Angelo 11-21-11 05:24 AM

Amazing collection of bikes. Just beautiful.

gomango 11-21-11 06:11 AM

Mr. Berg happens to have one of my favorite blogs as well:

1410 Oakwood

http://1410bicycle.blogspot.com/

Plenty of eye candy, and be sure to check out his Galmozzi project.

What a treasure!
