Which Presta valve pump?

Rather than get an adapter and have to keep up with it I had rather just buy a Presta valve pump. Which one do you guys recommend?

I use this. Works on both valves.

+1 Lots of good pumps that do both, I usually carry this pump when I'm riding, either strapped to my frame, or in a bag. Does both valves , light, cheap.

Bikes: Nishiki Cresta current Commuter Project, Miyata 1200, Trek Cirrus, Peugeot Montreal Express, Motobecane Roadie, Trek 1000 Aluminum 58cm ~ Nishiki Competition, Tri-A, Peugeot Canyon Express, Bianchi, Fuso and many more

I got this floor pump that works great, but don't rely on the built in gauge.

I'm pretty sure all of the Pedro's pumps are for both valves.

I've been using the adapter as a valve cap even though one of my pumps works on both.

I took my floor pump, cut off the dual presta/shrader adapter, and attached this brass presta hose end with a metal plumbing strap. Just plug and pump, then pull off w/ very little air loss.

I am also interested in a new Presta Floor Pump.

"10 Wheels" - when i click on your link, it does *not* take me to a page with a pump, it just goes to Serfas.com website (but not to a specific pump). Can you repost a link to your pump?

thanks

I picked up a floor pump at the LBS for $40 a few years ago. They are worth it. I'd stay away from the general X-Mart stuff. These last about 2 weeks.

If you want to put one on your bike, I recommend the Lezyne Micro Floor Drive Hand Pump. I keep this on my commuter, and I toured with it for >400 miles this summer. It's an absolutely fantastic pump. The pump handle has a relatively large travel, so you can inflate your tire rapidly. It also has a foot brace, so you're not pushing against the rim. It's expensive, but it more than makes up for it.

Bikes: Colnago Super, Fuji Opus III, Specialized Rockhopper, Specialized Sirrus (road)

Lezyne Alloy Drive. It will probably be the last pump you buy.

Also, the Road Drive is excellent for on the bike.

Update: After six months of using the Park frame pump I had pictured in my
first post above, I have decided it is, like many Park products of the 21st
century, a POS. If I can still find my receipt I'm returning it today to the
place I bought it. The incessant rattling on the bike is bad enough, but it
let me down bigtime yesterday, and it was a long walk to civilization.

Bikes: Steel is real. All others need not apply.

Get one made of metal. Stay away from plastic which can warp.

My Joe Blow floor pump has worked well for two years of regular use.

That's probably good advice. I bought a Serfas FP-200 floor pump.
