I am just wondering if anyone has ever tried these. I would be ok with them having a cane creek logo, just so long as they are really gum, and not just that boring brown color cane creek does.

The CCs do look a lot darker than most Gum hoods. I wish they had lighter flesh colored ones. I suspect they also added some substances in it to keep it from rotting quickly like old gum hoods used to.
People either love them or hate them, but I guess, eventually many C&Vers will end up using them as the NOS supply of old hoods run out for good.

Bear in mind that those hoods do not fit vintage Campagnolo lever bodies or their clones. Lots of eBay sellers claim that they do (this one doesn't seem to, as he doesn't say anything about what they do or do not fit), but they for sure don't....
They fit basic Weinmann levers, the Dia Compe clones of Weinmann, and perhaps a few other 'squarish' lever bodies, but not Campagnolo!
