Hi all
This bike was first one sent by one of my friend Mr. S.Prabhakar from Chennai,India. He works hard to find bikes out there.

Nice work! It doesn't appear to have needed too much done to it. It is hard to tell in the pictures, but is the bike black or green? It appears to be black in some of the photos, but in the one with the BB shell, it looks green to me. Maybe it's just the lighting...

Did you do the boxlining yourself? Is it paint or tape? Sorry if this seems too much like an interrogation than friendly questioning.

I agree the bike looks like a gorgeous shade of very dark green....again a nice bike! I am also interested in the pinstriping - my 1956 standard has (very faded) lining that is very close to what is on this raleigh....

You can do this pinstriping yourself.Use thinnest available duct tape with atleast 1/2" width. stick it on the green painted area where you wish to do striping so that both tape run parallel to themselves. Leave a thickness required for striping inbetween them..around 1-1.5 mm. Run a thin layer of golden/silver paint between this line. LET IT DRY OUT COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE UNWANTED DUCT TAPE. This is how I go for line work. Of course this takes a while but at least you get a pleasure that you did it!!! or else you need see the best line art worker in your town & pay him handsomely to get this done.... Cheers...

Dear no problems... You can ask me as many questions as you want to.....This bike is in military green colour. The BB shell picture actually shows correct colour. Sorry for the poor pic. quality..For the pinstriping I have already answered above.
